New Doha International Airport

New Doha international airport is the biggest airport in the Middle East .It will finish in 2017.It has three parts to finishes the first part will open on Qatar national day 18 December in 2011. Also the airport has big land area 22 square kilometers and big capacity .The capacity will be 6times bigger than old Doha air port. As a result 8700 passengers will be able to pass through airport in single hour. Moreover there are many services for example it has 2 terminals. The one terminal has a big hotel .Also it has 41 gates for air craft. .In addition it has 34 passport control .It will help people no spend their time. 5 minutes the maximum waiting time. In conclusion anew air port will create more jobs for Qatari people. It will need 55000 employees.

  2. The NDIA is the biggest project in Qatar and it will be a new home of Qatar Airways.NDIA cost 2.5 billion$ and it is built on a reclaimed land. Also, the project was started on 11th January 2005 and will open on 18Dec 2012 on the national day of Qatar.NDIA will handle up to 50 million passengers and 2 million tones of cargo.

    Furthermore, NDIA will be the hub of Qatar Airways and as a cargo and aircraft maintenance center. Also, NDIA facilities will include: terminal passengers, cargo terminal, Emiri terminal, public mosque, air-taffic control tower, to name a few. It will have 2 runways: the first runway will be 4,850 meters long and the second runway only 650 meters.

    In addition, the NEW Doha International Airport will be 4 times in capacity than the existence and it will be the first world's built specifically for "Super Jumbo" Airbus A380 which can carry over 800 passengers and it has 2 floors with several entertainment services .

    Finally, NDIA will give a chance for 50,000 employee in Qatar.

  3. The New Doha International Airport will be the biggest airport in the Middle East. The area of the airport land will be over 22 square kilometers and 40 % of the site will be built on reclaimed land from the Arabian Gulf. The cost of construction of the airport is about $2.5 bn. The first phase is scheduled to open on the 18th December 2011 while the final phase is scheduled for 2015. The first phase will be capable of handling 12 million passengers a year and this number will increase up to 50 million passengers by 2015. It will have two terminals, Passenger Terminal Complex and Emiri Terminal and 2 runways. It will have also 138 check-in counters in the check-in hall spread in 5 islands, 34 passport controls with additional 12 e-gates in the departure passport control and the waiting time there will be less than 5 minutes. Moreover, it will have 9 carousals in the baggage claim hall. And there is a hall called meet and greet hall which provides many facilities including, retail, food and disks with chairs for waiting greeters …etc. NDIA will not only be a major passenger hub, but an important cargo hub as well. The airport will feature a hangar which will be able to host 13 aircraft types at any time, an engineering centre and maintenance centre specially designed for the Super-Jumbo A380which will turn Qatar into gateway to the world.

  4. (N.D.I.A)New Doha International Airport is the name of the new airport. Phase one will be completion in 18\DEC\2011 . And it will be six times bigger than the old airport. Also the first phase will cost more than 2billion $ only for the first phase not including other phases. Also the tall of the runway one is 4,250m and runway two 4,850 capable to take a A380. Also it has 14 counters for Qatar airways first class ,16 for business class and 108 coumles for Qatar airways economy and other airlines.
